This session will review a South African study designed to assess the "The Efficacy Of Integrated Hiv/Aids And Wellness Programme, On Productivity, Behaviour And Absenteeism" in Organisations. This research focused on the impact that HIV/AIDS is having on performance, behaviour and attendance, within two large organisations within KwaZulu-Natal, both organisations had implemented a Wellness Programme. The research examined the institutional action taken to date, as regards consideration of organisational aspects in prevention and care, and on the other hand, an in depth analysis of individuals reactions to HIV/AIDS, in relation to the organisations references and resources.

Objectives:
• identfiy corporate needs related to the impact of HIV/AIDS;
• Implement new wellness strategies in the workplace;
• organize and set up new programmes.
