Description
Approved for 1.0 PDHs in Domain I,II
The difficult economic conditions over the last several months have ratcheted up the pressure on employers and their employees as all compete for success – and even survival. This pressure increases the likelihood that some employees will develop or exacerbate behavioral conditions that reduce their productivity and increase related costs for the employer – a situation in which both the employee and the employer decrease their competitive advantage. This is especially true for employers that depend on the cognitive and interpersonal skills of their employees for success.
Employee Assistance (EA), Work-Life (WL), and related programs are under the same pressures. In spite of these pressures, current economic realities offer significant opportunities to identify both obvious and hidden costs and to promote individual and corporate productivity.
Employers and employees in the financial services industry have been at the center of the economic storm. Dr. Conti will examine the impact of the costs related to behavioral health concerns, as well as the opportunities for EA & WL programs to respond. Can we make the EAP case, even in times like these? Yes, we can – and this presentation can show you how!
