Description
Approved for 1.5 PDHs in Domain II
In the U.S., Hispanics constitute 11.1 percent of the workforce. The number of Latino workers in the US is expected to grow by 36.3 percent this decade. This increase in employee population is bringing Latino culture to the workplace. However, this is not a single culture. The Latino group is one of great diversity including differences in history, nationality and language. EAP managers and consultants at all levels will benefit from this overview of Latino influenced changes in work organizations and organizational culture. Understanding the Latino community will assist EAP to connect with these employees and provide services more effectively.
