Description
Approved for 1.5 PDHs in Domain I
The presenters commissioned experts from nine countries around the world to look at current labor welfare policies and employee assistance practice to assess the present cross-national state-of-the-art of the employee assistance profession. Using a culturally sensitive perspective, these specialists observed and reported on national policy, employer funding, and government support of occupational policy and employee assistance practice to determine current trends in their countries. Emerging national strategies and resulting political opportunities for occupational practitioners are well documented for each country, leading to insights on likely trends for employee assistance programs in America and abroad.
