Author of Working Minds: Suicide Prevention in the Workplace, Spencer-Thomas presents internationally, helps lead the American Association of Suicidology, and coordinates the Surgeon General s National Strategy for Suicide Prevention.

The majority of people who die by suicide are of working age, and yet most workplaces find themselves completely unprepared when a suicide crisis strikes. This high energy presentation gives attendees cutting-edge tools to build comprehensive suicide prevention programs and engages participants in meaningful interactive exercises to bring the material to life. Far beyond the traditional focus on warning signs and risk factors, this training illuminates a public health approach that addresses issues from proactive prevention to bereavement support.
