Description
Approved for 1.5 PDHs in Domain II
This presentation offers advanced insights for workplace critical incident response (CIR) services. Part one - delivered by a researcher - presents results of a research literature review on the clinical and business impact of CIR services. Part two - delivered by a business executive - presents guidance on how to translate the research into practice for designing CIR services. Part three - delivered by a senior clinician - illustrates how counselors can learn to have an organizational mindset versus the typical focus on the individual. The preparation and delivery of a CIR require both clinical skills and business savvy to be effective.
