Bob VandePol serves as President of Crisis Care Network, the largest provider of critical incident response services to the workplace. CCN responds over 800 times per month to facilitate individual and organizational resilience after tragedies. Active as a keynote speaker, he has also frequently published in clinical and business journals.

Marina London is the Web Editor for the Employee Assistance Professionals Association. She has previously worked as an EAP executive. "How EA Professionals Can Benefit from Web 2.0" was published First Quarter 2009 in the Journal of Employee Assistance. Her blog www.iwebu.blogspot.com, helps mental health professionals understand the Internet.

Dr. Jacobson chairs the EAP Subspecialization at the University of Maryland, School of Social Work. Her research focuses on workplace behavioral health and how EAP and other health and wellness interventions affect worker health and productivity. She has also conducted research within the areas of trauma and suicide prevention.

Jan has been with WA State EAP since 1982 and manager since 1999. Her program serves over 80,000 governmental employees and externally provides services to 32 governmental agencies. She is a past chair of the Employee Assistance Certification Commission and currently co-chairs the EAPA Workplace Disaster Preparedness Panel of Experts.

Dr. Blum is a past president of EAPA. She is president of SELECT EAP and for 22 years directed EAP services for U.S. Customs and Border Protection. Dr. Blum specializes in program development, training, management consultation and workplace critical incident response services. Dotty co-chairs EAPA's Workplace Disaster Preparedness Panel of Experts.

EAPA's Workplace Disaster Panel of Experts invites you to participate in an interactive table-top exercise during this two hour super-session. The exercise will highlight strategies and information you can use to promote organizational resilience as part of the organization’s business continuity plan before crisis strikes. The panel will provide you with a 5 step model for recognizing and dealing with your own compassion fatigue. Explore the key elements of a durable, resilient workforce and how EAP can support the organization’s management through a Resilience Skill Building Training and Consultation Model.
