Description
Approved for 1.5 PDHs in Domain II, III
Providing crisis counseling for impacted employees and families is commonplace and expected following traumatic incidents. However, much like family therapy with a child who may live with dysfunctional parents, the best crisis intervention must be systemic. Management cannot abdicate their responsibilities only to crisis counselors, or else crisis recovery will be compromised. Learn in this session what management should do in addition to providing EAP crisis-related mental health assistance.
