Radhi obtained an honours degree in Social Work at the University of
Witwatersrand which was followed by 12 years in practice. Working
experience in both UK and SA within various industries. She is also a
member on the EAPA South Africa board where she currently holds the
research portfolio.

Beginning with his first stress management workshop (1985), Dr. Bennett has consulted with many organizations in the area of organizational wellness, prevention, and leadership. Cients include federal and local government, as well as privately held and military organizations. He is a peer reviewer for scientific journals in the field of organizational health.

Dr. Smit is a registered Industrial Psychologist, currently functioning in
a Wellness Consultant role. Shantel earned a Ph.D. from the University
of the North West, Potchefstroom, on the topic of “Work Wellness in the
Chemical Industry"

Description
This dynamic panel features the perspectives of a researcher, a human resources professional, and an EAP account manager, all experienced in utilizing data gathered via the Personal User Lifestyle Evaluation (PULSE) behavioral risk management (BRM) tool. PULSE has been utilized by over 100 organizations and 100,000 employees over the past 10 years in South Africa. The PULSE includes over 100 items in areas on work life, health, behavioral symptoms, work limitations, family problems, financial health, and lifestyle. The resulting report is utilized by the panelists to guide EAP programming, predict EAP utilization and develop interventions resulting in positive organizational change.
1) Demonstrate the ability to convey the importance of proactive use of organizational data to optimize EAP services;
2) List and understand three different uses for behavioral risk management assessments;
3)Use BRM reports to empower account managers and work organizations to implement positive organizational change.
