Description
It's happening now... EAPs that aren't delivering direct EA services via SMS text, e-mail, text chat, video chat are figuring out how to do so. But just because you now have the technology available to change how you deliver services, should you? EAPA has a responsibility to the profession to openly discuss the ethical implications that sweeping changes in technology have created. Join the Ethics Education Panel as we journey through a macro-view of the pro's and con's of various service delivery systems, through the lens of an ethical decision-making model. Bring your cutting-edge thoughts to the discussion!
1) identify ethical framework(s) and resources for making decisions about ethical delivery of online services;
2) discuss primary advantages and disadvantages of providing services via SMS text, e-mail, text chat & video chat;
3) apply EAPA's Ethical Decision Making Model to the provision of online services.
