Description
Today we face a crisis of an increase in drop out rates from high school. An increase in agressive behavior, drug use and behavioral problems among young men. Factors such as untreated drug and alcohol problems, behavioral problems and social supports have led to many young men being led to gangs, disruptive and even criminal activities. In this session you will learn how EAPs along with an integrated team of treatment, family and community support can effectively prevent the deterioration of families and loss of young men.

1) Identify effective treatment approaches to address family crisis centering around disruptive behavior by adolescent and teenage boys;
2) Organize interdisciplinary approaches to reach young men;
3) identify the many factors contributing to these issues such as lack of supervision, families disrupted by military deployment and war casualties and effects of drug, alcohol and behavioral problems.
