Description
What if we created a supportive environment and a work or community culture that allows, and in fact, encourages healthy and high performing worksites and workforces? This presentation looks at how and why employers can help create a culture of health and the role of the EAP and Work/Life programs in achieving it. A culture of health refers not just to the health status of the workforce but also the culture of the organization and employees in terms of their personal resilliency, emotional health, engagement and productivity.
1) Provide leaders the business and economic case for creating a culture of health within their organization; 2) Implement a culture of health that not only improves the health of the workforce but increases the value of EAP and Work/Life programs; and 3) Cite examples of employer's successes in creating a culture of health.
