Description
The workshop will review the assessment and treatment of cybersex. This workshop is designed to help the technological challenged understand how people use Internet for sexual purposes. Examples will be provided explaining the "slang" of the internet. Attention will be given to assessment strategies, and the unique aspects in how the Internet can be part of the mental health and chemical health problems. The presenter will provide information on the psychology of the Internet, including a discussion of related drug use, relapse and treatment strategies.
1) List examples of multiple online venues enabling Internet-related compulsive sexual behavior; and 2) Identify appropriate approaches for the assessment, treatment and assessing Internet of for Internet-related compulsive sexual behavior.
