Beginning with his first stress management workshop (1985), Dr. Bennett has consulted with many organizations in the area of organizational wellness, prevention, and leadership. Cients include federal and local government, as well as privately held and military organizations. He is a peer reviewer for scientific journals in the field of organizational health.

Dr. Tom Amaral is a research psychologist who has been evaluating and researching EAPs for more than 30 years. He is a recognized expert on return-on-investment analyses, workplace outcomes, measuring and communicating business value, healthcare claims cost-offset research, customer satisfaction surveys, performance metrics, quality improvement, and benchmarking.

Dr. Chet Taranowski is the Employee Assistance Coordinator for Aon
Corporation. He received his doctorate from the University of Illinois in
Chicago. Chet is the Past President of the Northern Illinois Chapter of
EAPA. In 2010 he was the recipient of the International EAPA Professional
of the year award.

Description
Once again, the Research Panel is proud to sponsor the 2011 Research Roundtable. This year's workshop will focus on EA services to the organization. Each panelist will be allowed the opportunity to present evidence based information relevant to the field of EA practice and theory. Chet Taranowski and Joel Bennett will discuss their work in organizational engagement and organizational wellness. Each will be asked to present their findings emphasizing practice, theory and research. Tom Amaral will provide an update of EA organizational services based on information collected from the EAP Data Warehouse. As always, lively discussion and audience participation will be encouraged.
1) Expand knowledge of organizational practice; 2) Identify current best practices in organizational engagement and wellness; and 3) Demonstrate the value of organizational interventions.
