Description
EAP Critical Incident Response Continuum of Services guides EAPs to work collaboratively with businesses and other entities to prepare/respond to workplace disasters/critical incidents. EAP's today are challenged by dispersed, deployed and off-site working arrangements. The people and functions that used to be under one company ceiling have become a dynamic network of electronically connected resources. With an increasing norm of "global nomads" EAPs are challenged to provide appropriate response services. The panel will explore modalities of collaboration to enhance appropriate preparedness and response, and address the challenges and opportunities for EAPs to take a lead in creative collaboration efforts.
1) Effectively collaborate with identified internal and external resources; 2) Collaborate with managers to develop resilient leadership in the work organization; and 3) Use social media to provide crisis communication.
