and trains affiliate networks in most countries of Latin America.
Provides and supervises Expat Assistance Programs in Argentina,
Colombia, Perú, Bolivia, Chile, Costa Rica, Mexico and Venezuela.

Description
Speakers will share a brief overview of the main characteristics of the political and social atmosphere in countries like Mexico, Colombia, Venezuela and Argentina, and will emphazise the challenges when serving expats in those contexts. Venezuela will be considered case example in the frame of President Hugo Chavez's socialism and its socio-economic impact. The presentation will address current challenges such as cumpolsory purchase and expropriation of multinational companies and political discrimination towards capitalism. How may EAP help to prepare expats and relatives to adapt to a country from which most people want to emigrate?
1) Describe how social and political context can affect an international assignment; 2) Acknowledge the required preparation prior to assignments at hostile environment; 3) Learn special strategies to address these kind of challenges.
