Amy Wirtz has been a family law lawyer for over 19 years. She offers
collaborative divorce, cooperative divorce, mediated divorce, pre-marital
agreements, and family law arbitration. She lectures frequently on
Collaborative Divorce, training attorneys, divorce coaches and financial
neutrals in this non-litigated approach to ending a marriage.

Martina is a counselor specializing in marriage and family, substance
abuse, and women’s issues. She is President of Moore Counseling &
Mediation Services, Inc. which provides Employee Assistance Programs
to area businesses, counseling to adolescents and adults, substance
abuse treatment, mediation and consultation services.

Karen is a Professional Clinical Counselor and Chemical Dependency
Counselor, faculty member of the Gestalt Institute of Cleveland and cochair
of the Couples Therapy Program. She is in private practice in Rocky
River, Ohio specializing in divorce coaching with Collaborative Divorce
and couple and family counseling.

Description
How couples end their marriage substantially impacts employees, employers and society at large. Employee assistance programs have an opportunity to serve this large section of employees with a higher level of service and save employers substantial sums of money. Attendees will learn how offering employers and employees education, information and consultations with financial and mental health neutrals will reduce the cost of divorce to employers, employees and society at large. You will learn about mediated divorce, collaborative divorce, and cooperative divorce and will be able to utilize this information to create a new market for your service providers.
1) Explain the difference between mediated, collaborative, cooperative and litigated divorce; 2) Describe the roles of a divorce coach, parenting coach and a financial neutral in the collaaborative divorce process; 3) Quote to employers the cost differential of litigated verses dispute resolution methods.
