Description
The warrior spirit is strong, complex and enduring. As together we have faced the experience of deployments since September 11th, professionally and personally, we feel compelled to share our journey. Our hope is to educate, to better appreciate, and to better support our military and their families. By increased understanding, we as EAP professionals can serve our military and their families by building a bridge between then (deployment) and now (post deployment).
1) Define and describe the warrior spirit; 2) Identify and to describe the 7 stages of deployment and reintegration; and 3) Utilize two effective tools to support the military member and family members.
