Description
An exploration of the substance abuse professional (SAP) role from ethical and cultural perspectives. Participants evaluate samples used to standardize assessment instruments, gauge their own cultural sensitivity, consider anecdotes, and role play an assessment and an aftercare evaluation
1) Determine if an assessment instrument's scores are representative for a particular culture; and 2) Role play a multi-cultural SAP assessment.
