Nearly every Employee Assistance Program (EAP) claims it provides a positive return-on-investment (ROI) and, if allowed access to the necessary outcomes data, asserts it can prove it, too. But do today's EAPs truly provide a significantROI? If so, what is the nature and level of this ROI? This presentation will review the research literature on ROI and discuss the implications of this research for current and future EAP best practices.
1) To provide participants with research findings that demonstrates a significant ROI for EAPs; 2) To advise participants on the implications of the ROI research findings for EAP best practices; and 3) To teach participants how these research findings can be used to support the value of their own EAP's services.
