Description
This is an area that has great significance and very little guidance throughout the industry. While the reported information is presented to the highest levels of the healthcare organization, the look and feel of the reports is often an afterthought.
There is great value in improving the quality of the reports. Some hopsitals have spent quite a bit of time developing these reports, others do not.
This class will present the concepts of better Board reporting. The class will also present actual best practice Board reports within the class so that the participants will have real reports to take back to their organization and implement if they so choose.
Compare and contrast traditional board reports with best practice board reports
Identify best practices for reporting to the finance committee and board
Implement best practice finance committee and board reporting and use them to improve organizational outcomes
