Regina Phelps is an internationally recognized expert in the field of emergency management and continuity planning. With over 23 years of experience, she has provided consultation and speaking services to clients in four continents. She is founder of Emergency Management & Safety Solutions a training and consulting company specializing in emergency management, continuity planning and safety. A partial list of clients include Levi Strauss & Co., Liberty Mutual, Northern Trust, Chiron, VISA, Triton Container, Intuit, Stanford University, Macromedia and the World Bank. Ms. Phelps has received numerous honors and awards including BRMA 2001 and 1999 Award for Excellence in Business Recovery Planning, College of the Sequoia's, Hall of Fame 1995; Outstanding Employer 1989 and 1992 by the ARC; Women Entrepreneur of the Year 1986 San Francisco Chamber of Commerce; and the Champion of Small Business 1988, SBA. Ms. Phelps was the 1991 Chairman of the Board of the SF Chamber, the first woman, the youngest, and first small business owner to ever hold that seat.
