Booker is currently be responsible for ESi operations in Indiana and nine other states -- Nebraska, Kansas, Missouri, Iowa,
Minnesota, Wisconsin, Illinois, Ohio and Michigan. Prior to joining ESi, Booker was the manager of the emergency
operations center for Indianapolis-Marion County Emergency Management Division (EMD). In his new role, Booker will work with the area's emergency management agencies to help integrate the WebEOC(R) suite, the first Web-enabled Crisis Information Management System, that provides cost-effective, real-time information sharing for ongoing operations or emergency situations. Booker's accomplishments in EOC collaboration were recognized by his peers at the ESi WebEOC User Conference in May 2007 where he received two major awards based on votes from other users. He was designated as the Board Designer of the Year for overall designs, technical merit and code
stability, and he also received the WebEOC Innovation Award for his pioneering efforts in implementing Google(R) maps capability into tracking
boards used in emergency response processes.
