An overview of the key components of education law-IDEA, section 504, NCLB, Texas Dyslexia Law — will allow participants to understand family's rights and the school's obligations when assessing and instructing the student with dyslexia. Practical advice will be given on how to participate in educational planning meetings, monitor progress and resolve disagreements that may arise between parents and schools.
