Description
Compassion Fatigue/Resiliency and Interdisciplinary Team Building/Professionalism issues were identified by staff as patient- and family-centered care barriers. Facilitated reflective practice and narrative exchange workshops were surveyed for 12 months. Results show enhanced resiliency, team cohesion, and ability to deliver high-quality care among participants.
Also, to proactively address staff-identified barriers to 24/7 family presence, facilitated 60-minute reflective practice and narrative exchange sessions (Narrative Pediatrics) were surveyed for 18 months. Results show improved resiliency, team cohesion, and enhanced ability to deliver high-quality patient care among participants.
