Project GREAT — Putting the Recovery Model of Mental Health Care into Practice

The recovery model of mental health care embraces hope, empowerment, and inclusion of individuals with mental illness into the treatment team. This presentation empowers providers with tools to facilitate adoption of recovery principles in the provision of mental health care.

Signs of Change: Corporate-Client Cooperation in Adult Mental Health Care

This presentation will provide a history of the development of a Client Empowerment Council and indicate the steps taken in so doing. The opportunities for confidence and skill development will also be identified, as will the impact on client-centred care.
