Description
Spiritual Struggles and Solace While a Child is Dying

Stories from bereaved parents will shed light upon their spiritual struggles and remind practitioners about the wide variety of issues families face during health crises and that values and spiritual beliefs must be treated with dignity and respect.

When the Miracle Doesn't Happen

Families’ real-life experiences will illustrate the potential benefits and harm that can be caused when a patient- and family-centered care model is utilized, and when it is not. Insights into how to improve patient/family/health care partnerships will be shared.
