Initiated by families, this video is an introduction to the sights and sounds of a neonatal intensive care unit. It exemplifies that the family is an integral part of the care team and highlights the importance of partnering with families.
Taking a Closer Look at Developing Culturally Relevant Educational Approaches to Empowering Parents
This session will look at developing an educational video for parents who speak Spanish--focused on parents’ key role. It will highlight the importance of understanding cultural context, integrating cultural attitudes and beliefs, and strategic ways to integrate the nuances.
