Family-Centered Rounds: Tools for Collaboration and Quality

Family-centered rounds is fast gaining acceptance as a preferred model. This multidisciplinary approach to communicating critical health information among key stakeholders seems intuitively better. Defining a shared vision within an institution and measuring performance is essential to success.

An Interdisciplinary Approach to Integrating Scripting into a Patient- and Family-Centered Care Environment

MCGHealth Interdisciplinary Cultural Change Committee collaborated on taking patient- and family-centered care to the next level through educating staff at all levels in the art of scripting with our patients and families as a way to provide consistency in communication.
