Parent Resource Network (PRN) provides outreach to families with children born prematurely, chronic illness, and/or genetic disorders. Developed by health care representatives and families, PRN will present keys to success in providing outreach to area hospitals and families within urban and rural communities
Single Parent Caregivers of Catastrophically Ill Children: Unique Challenges and Opportunities for Family- Centered Care
A parent who lost her child identifies the unique struggles of single parent caregivers and partners with 13 pediatric hospitals to provide them urgent financial support. Learn about this assistance, and the impact on lone caregiver families of childhood illness.
