Diane Krueger, BS, CBDT has been program manager of the University of Wisconsin Osteoporosis Clinical Research Program since 1993. Her clinical research experience is in osteoporosis and bone densitometry, having conducted multiple investigator-initiated and industry studies. She is an ISCD-certified clinical densitometrist and a certified clinical research coordinator through the Association of Clinical Research Professionals. Ms. Krueger has been involved in the field of bone densitometry for over 10 years, during which time related activities include scan acquisition, research and education. She currently serves as an ISCD Board member, Secretary and is active in ISCD educational activities.

Neil Binkley, MD, CCD is a clinician researcher at the University of Wisconsin specializing in internal medicine and geriatrics. He was instrumental in establishing the UW Osteoporosis Clinical Center and Osteoporosis Clinical Research Program, with which he continues to serve as Director. He is also Associate Director of the UW Institute on Aging. His research efforts focus on osteoporosis diagnosis, osteoporosis in men, the role of nutrition in bone loss and sarcopenia. Dr. Binkley is a member of the American Geriatrics Society, American Society for Bone and Mineral Research (serves on the Advocacy Committee; and Journal of Bone and Mineral Research Editorial Board), Gerontological Society of America, International Bone and Mineral Society, Central Society for Clinical Research and International Society for Clinical Densitometry (ISCD).

Description
This session is designed to help incorporate FRAX® into bone density practices. The function and use of FRAX will be discussed along with options to integrate the tool with bone mass acquisition. This will include identification of relevant patient history, discussion on how DXA manufacturers will integrate into software and discussion of a collaborative approach by clinicians and technologists to implement into clinical practice.
