Description
Two years ago New York Life partnered with the University of Houston's C.T. Bauer College of Business faculty, administration and student organizations to launch a multi-level partnership program with the college. The resulting programs have made NY Life the employer of choice at Bauer and have made Bauer one of their top recruiting schools. The program is unusual in that it involves community-building at all levels of the college. Unlike many partnership programs that focus on just one area of a college, New York Life's involvement ranges from shootouts at basketball games to mentor programs to providing faculty to teach insurance classes. Their many creative recruiting and partnership programs have made their recruiters among the most recognized and liked people in the college at all levels. The results were so remarkable that the headquarters developed a training video, which is used with New York Life agents nationwide, based entirely on the Bauer partnership.
