Between today's tight job market and the high expectations of job-seeking Millennial students, employers are pressed to explore new and improved approaches to college recruiting. Oklahoma State's Career Services staff responded to this need with a series of workshops developed to help employers customize their recruiting strategies and learn about the complex lives and goals of the students they seek to hire. On- and off-campus recruitment options, generational information, and recruitment best practices are discussed in a small group format over the lunch hour, and employers are encouraged to incorporate technology and more direct communication into their hiring processes. These presentations provide organizations of all sizes with practical advice and useful information, and they've received rave reviews from employers.
