Description
What drives employees to an organization, encourages them to stay and launches their efforts in a manner that is in line with organization goals? Is it pay...benefits...work itself..perhaps organization culture...or work/life considerations? The concept of total rewards suggests that there is no single factor that compensates employees for their contribution...it is the total package that rewards employees in the manner that is meaningful to the individual. Organizations that believe and design compensation in the totality of rewards offered employees are successful in the attraction, retention and motivation of labor necessary to meet its objectives...especially considering today's work force.
