'This presentation uses the results from the 2004-2005 administration of ACRE to describe the knowledge of students about their faith in eight domains: God, Church, Liturgy & Sacraments, Revelation & Scripture, Morality & Catholic Social Teaching, Church History, Prayer & Religious Practice, and Catholic Faith Literacy. Areas of particular strengths and significant weaknesses are identified. Also identified are the most important predictors of students’ knowledge of their faith, reported attendance at Mass, and their relationship with Jesus. Recommendations about steps that could be taken to improve performance on ACRE are discussed.
