OBA is located at 20 Toronto Street, two blocks east of Yonge on the North Side of King, in between Adelaide and King Streets.

WHERE DO I CHECK IN AT THE PROGRAM?
Unless otherwise indicated, our programs take place in Toronto at the OBA Conference Centre. Our seminar rooms are located on
the second floor of the building and a registration desk will be set up in advance of the program. You may check in up to one
hour prior to the program.
IS THERE WHEELCHAIR ACCESS?
Yes, through the Counsel Court Building on Adelaide Street East, between Victoria and Toronto Streets.
ARE COURSE MATERIALS INCLUDED IN THE CLE PROGRAM REGISTRATION FEE?
Yes. The registration fee for all CLE programs includes course materials. Materials are distributed during program registration.

Member: A member in good standing of the Canadian Bar Association
Student Member: Law Student, Articling and Bar Admission Candidate who is a member in good standing of the Canadian Bar Association
Non-member
HOW DO I REGISTER FOR A PROGRAM?
We offer several convenient registration options:

Registrations for both CLE and Section programs must be prepaid.
Credit card number MUST accompany all faxed registrations.

Seating and meal preference, if applicable, will be given to pre-paid registrants.
While the necessity rarely arises, OBA reserves the right to cancel or reschedule courses, refuse admission, or change speakers, location or content at any time and without prior notice.
DOES OBA HAVE A FINANCIAL HARDSHIP POLICY?
The OBA Bursary program provides registration at reduced prices to OBA members in good standing. Members who qualify and
wish to participate in the OBA Bursary program are required to submit a fully completed application to OBA reservation
staff. Applicants should indicate their year of call and that their pre-tax income is less than the pre-tax threshold
of $35,000.

DOES OBA OFFER TUITION RECEIPTS FOR GOVERNMENT LAWYERS?
Yes, the Ontario Bar Association is certified as an Educational Institution, allowing us to issue tuition receipts for
CLE registration fees (exclusive of meal and publication costs) to salaried lawyers who cannot claim fees as a business
expense. This tax credit is particularly advantageous to government lawyers.
WHAT IF I NEED TO CANCEL MY REGISTRATION?
Notification must be in writing. CLE program cancellations will be accepted until five business days prior to the
program, subject to a $50 (plus GST) cancellation fee. Section program cancellations will be accepted until two business
days prior to the program, subject to a $10 (plus GST) cancellation fee. No refunds will be made if notification is
received after this time, and any unpaid registrations will be invoiced for the full amount owing, whether or not you attend.
MAY I SEND SOMEONE AS A SUBSTITUTE IF I CANNOT ATTEND?
Yes, if you cannot attend on the day of the program, you may send a delegate of the same OBA membership category in your place.
If the delegate is NOT an OBA member, s/he will be required to pay the difference in fee.
REGISTRATION, REFUND & CANCELLATION POLICY
Registrations must be prepaid. Registrations will be accepted by FAX at (416) 642-0424 and at the Ontario Bar Association address
shown on this registration form. A credit card number must accompany all faxed registrations. Walk-in registrations will be
accommodated only if accompanied by credit card or cheque. Seating and meal preference, if applicable, will be given to pre-paid
registrants. Course fee is refundable (less $50.00 plus $3.00 GST) for each program only if notice is received in writing five
business days before the course. No refunds will be made if notification is received after the cancellation date. Please note
that an OBA Member in the same category may attend in your place. If the delegate is not in the same membership category, s/he
will be required to pay the difference in fee. OBA reserves the right to cancel or reschedule courses, refuse admission, or
