Description

This session will highlight the issues that have arisen for charities over the past couple
of years as a result of the economic downturn and the resulting decrease in endowment
funds. These difficult economic times have lead to charities questioning whether they
have funds to grant, whether they can encroach on capital and how they should invest
going forward. Susan and Jill will highlight the issues that charities are facing, lead an
interactive discussion on practical problems being raised and suggest some options for
structuring endowments and resolving these issues for the future.
