Corporate social responsibility is a topic of vital importance to corporations operating in
today’s challenging and increasingly global economy. Chip Pitts, Lecturer in Law at Stanford
Law School, former Chief Legal Officer of Nokia, Inc., and former Chair of Amnesty
International USA, will discuss how the legal and ethical principles of the new corporate
governance model are relevant not only in responding to the continuing economic challenges,
but also in positioning businesses, government bodies and other organizations
for sustainable 21st century relations and development going forward.
