Description

Two things are undisputed about ethical dilemmas and the practise of criminal law:
regardless of which side of the bar you have chosen, you’re bound to have them; and
depending on the side you have chosen, you will never face exactly the same ethical
challenges as your opponent.

Two of the most able legal minds in criminal practice will share their defence and Crown
dilemmas and will challenge the other to come to ethical and workable resolutions in their
respective practices. Counsel will be refereed by the esteemed Mr. Justice Moldaver of the
Ontario Court of Appeal.

Learn compassion for the other side through an understanding of the ethical issues at play,
or sharpen your strategies by anticipating your opponent’s obstacles. Whatever your motive,
we invite you to attend an evening that promises to provide thought-provoking discussion,
engaging anecdotes, and exclusive insights into the challenges faced by three senior
individuals engaged in criminal law.
