What is OTC On Demand?

OTC On Demand is an online portal to session handouts and archived recordings from the annual Offshore Technology Conference.

System Requirements:

Internet Browsers:
We support Internet Explorer (IE), Firefox and Safari.

Requirements for Streaming Content:
To view any streaming video synched to slide or audio presentations, please be sure you have installed and have the updated version of adobe flash player to your computer. You can do this by going to www.adobe.com
Please be sure that streaming media is allowed through your firewall and have the website (www.softconference.com) as an accepted site.

Requirements for Handouts:
Please be sure you have adobe reader on your computer.

How to Login:

Select “My Account” from the menu bar at the top of the page.
*This is not your OTC login.

If you recently attended a meeting, you were provided with a login account via email announcing the OTC On Demand. Please be sure to login as a returning user.

If you already have an account, you can login as a returning user using your username and password.

If you did not attend a recent meeting and wish to purchase content you can create a new account by filling in the “create new account” section.

Creating a new account will not recognize you as an attendee of a meeting. If you do not have attended a recent meeting and wish to login as an attendee please contact support@cmcgc.com

If you forget your password select “forget password” to receive an email with you login password. Please be sure to check your junk/spam mail folder.

How to Access Session:

When viewing the Session List page you will see the option to view the sessions by session code, speaker or date. To locate the session you wish to view please scroll down the page and select the session from the list. You will be sent to the session information page.

1. Once logged in select “Annual Meeting” from the top menu.
2. Select “click here for content from the meeting” to view the session list.
3. The sessions will be listed with an icon to the right of the session title. Each icon will indicate what media type the session will have.
4. Select a session from the list.
5. On the session information page, select “view” to start enjoying the session.

How to View “Audio Synchronized to PowerPoint” presentations and download the audio MP3 files:

1. Once you have accessed the session information page select “view” below “Audio Synchronized to PowerPoint”.
2. These sessions are synchronized with PowerPoint slides and will require the adobe flash player program to run. Please be sure you have the updated version. You can access this for free by going to adobe.com.
3. To download MP3s from “audio Synchronized to PowerPoint” presentation, please wait for the file to load and then select "click here for more options" on the flash slide player to view the dropdown menu. Select download from the menu. Select MP3 file and save to your computer.

If this is your first time downloaded please download to your desktop and test the file to ensure you have downloaded successfully.

Please note: the synchronized sessions are in Flash format with audio MP3 download option and are not available as complete “audio + powerpoint” downloads.

Troubleshoot for Streaming Media

Cannot view session after clicking “view”:
The Flash presentation will appear in a new window and should automatically start playing. If this does not occur, please double check to ensure that your popup blocker is turned off.

Flash player appears but nothing plays:
Depending on your internet speed you may have to allow the streaming content to load. You will notice the slide title background (located to the left of the flash player) changes color from grey (not loaded) to white (loaded and ready to play).

No content appears at all:
You may need to clear your cache and cookies. Please close the browser and clear this information before moving forward.

How to Purchase:

1. Once logged in, select the meetings list in the menu bar at the top of the page. From the Meetings list, select the meeting you wish to purchase.
2. Select the item you wish to purchase. On the information page, scroll down to the bottom of the page and select the green “purchase” link.
3. Once you select the purchase button you will notice a shopping cart that appears at the top right hand corner of the page. Select the Shopping Cart to complete your purchase.
4. Selecting the Shopping Cart will take you to the Cart Summary. Once you have verified your Purchase, Select Checkout. You will be asked to verify that you are logged in as the correct person. Select the link “Click here to continue”
5. Fill in the required fields and then select the “submit” button to complete your purchase.
6. Once you have completed your purchase you will receive an order number as well an email to verify your purchase. You will then be able go back to the site to listen to the recordings.
7. Go back to the OTC On Demand you purchased from and then select “my content”. This is located on the right hand side of the page below “personal details”.
8. Select the purple “view” button next to the session title to listen to the MP3. Please follow the instructions provided on the page to download the audio file.
