This session will look at recent developments in Medicare Advantage medical benefits. How have MIPPA and post-MIPPA regulatory changes affected product design, medical management, marketing emphasis, and network? What might the future hold? Speakers will concentrate on the 2011 contract year. In addition to local and regional coordinated care plans, HMO, PPO, the session will also look at PFFS and special needs plans, as well as the types of health interventions used to address the higher chronic prevalence rates in SNPs.
