Description
Current performance assessment bases, including market-consistent embedded value (MCEV), proposed International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and cost of funds embedded value, are designed to provide useful information on where value is created and which business units are creating the value. Each of these approaches also has limitations measuring performance across an entire business. This session looks at the pros and cons of various methods for assessing performance on a risk-adjusted basis.
