The Banner Large School Consortium is an organization consisting of higher education institutions seeking improvements to the Banner Information System. The mission of the consortium is to focus on the special needs of large institutions by working collectively and collaboratively amongst the membership and with SunGard Higher Education.

* Identify functional and technical improvements for the Banner software products.
* Identify improvements to existing services and recommend new service opportunities
* Facilitate communication between SunGard Higher Education and among constituents on identified issues
* Influence product design and direction
* Leverage the resources of the membership and SunGard Higher Education to develop and deliver software and service improvements.
