Description
Considering the evolution of educational technology, learning is no longer best achieved in a traditional classroom setting; rather, today's students demand a more sophisticated learning space. To that end, we must constantly explore innovative ways of successfully incorporating technology into the classroom. Connectivity, interaction, collaboration and the ability to support multiple methods of teaching and learning are all essential components of a Flex Classroom and when combined, create an Active Learning Space.

Given the typical constraints university administrators and technology professionals encounter, designing such a room can prove challenging for universities, both big and small. This session will focus on how Immaculata University has implemented what we call Flex Classrooms and is intended for university administrators and technology professionals, or anyone else tasked with the challenge of expanding technology throughout their classroom buildings.
