In this session we will provide an overview of how to create a Reporting Services report. We will demonstrate how to create a report dataset from scratch or by copying and pasting data from a Vista View in PowerCAMPUS. We will also discuss using multiple datasets in a report. Additionally, in this session we will show how to: • Deploy reports • Set up security for reports • Export reports from Reporting Services into various formats (e.g. Microsoft Excel) • Use report subscriptions. We'll also show some examples of reports that Marian University has created and how we use them. This session will be based on using PowerCAMPUS 7.21 and SQL Server 2005. The session will not cover installing Reporting Services.
