This session will focus on presenting how to use the Business Process Rules Engine (BPRE / PRGN / MUU) in order to support Need Analysis calculations in Banner Student Aid (BSAC). It will cover topics like:
1- Flow of Need Analysis in BSAC. This includes items such as:
- Applicant applying to need based awards using an on-line application
- Determination of applicant's profile
- Calculation of student's need.
2- Flow for defining a Need Analysis processing in BSAC. This includes items such as:
- Defining an on-line Financial Aid Need Analysis Application
- Configuring the calculation of Academic Cost of Attendance
- Configuring formulae for determining an applicant's need:
= Defining budget component formulae in BSAC
= Definition rules in BPRE.
3- Executing need analysis calculations based on the defined formulae.
4- Analyzing results.
