The Banner Document Management Suite (BDMS) provides Self-Service Banner (SSB) integration that allows you to configure SSB to use BDMS packages that provide links to ApplicationXtender to query and view documents using a web interface. This session demonstrates how Regent University implemented the basic feature using custom WebTailor packages then further enhanced the functionality to include cross application queries which allow the user to search for documents across multiple Xtender applications. Our implementation also includes enhanced table-driven security which ensures users are assigned the required security roles necessary to access scanned documents.
