Description
The presentation will focus on processes applied at The University of Chicago to identify a new Advance user, line of communication with the supervisor to determine the required rights assigned based on the user's job responsibilities, training required to activate those rights, track that training and how and why system access changes. Best practices will be covered regarding the pros and cons for how much access should and does a new user receive. Ex. User account activation before or after training; Assign needed rights before or after the completion of the matching training course.
