about each speaker.
I have studied particle radiation therapy and its comparison with IMRT for my habilitation thesis (2nd doctorate) at the University of Heidelberg in 1995. Since 2001 I have been the director of physics research at Massachusetts General Hospital and have been involved with various aspects of proton therapy in this capacity. I have 5 recent papers on the management of uncertainties in radiation therapy, plus 3 on uncertainties in proton therapy, specifically range uncertainties.
