Dr. Wui-Jin Koh is professor of radiation oncology, and adjunct professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology, in the University of Washington School of Medicine. He also serves as Medical Director of Radiation Oncology at the Seattle Cancer Care Alliance.
Dr. Koh graduated from Loma Linda University School of Medicine in 1984, and completed his residency in radiation oncology at the University of Washington in 1988. He has remained on the faculty of the Department of Radiation Oncology at the University of Washington since then.
Dr Koh specializes in the management of patients with gynecologic and GI malignancies. He has published widely in the field of gynecologic cancer. Recent book chapters cover vulvar cancer in the Principles and Practice of Gynecologic Oncology 5th edition, 2009(eds. Barakat RR, Markman M, Randall ME), and cervix cancer in Clinical Radiation Oncology, 2nd edition, 2007 (eds. Gunderson LL, Tepper JE).
His current research interests center on the optimization of multimodality therapy for cancer, novel therapeutic agents for chemoradiotherapy, as well as the role of imaging in oncology. He currently serves as the co-chair of the cervix and vulva committee of the Gynecologic Oncology Group, and as the co-chair of the cervix and uterine guidelines panel of the National Comprehensive Cancer Network. He is on the editorial board of 4 peer-reviewed journals, including Gynecologic Oncology, JNCCN, and the American Journal of Clinical Oncology.
